NexusHire Solutions follows Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This page explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to reach us about it.
Who we are
NexusHire Solutions is an executive search firm based in Singapore (EA Licence No. 23S1692) and part of the EXELLAR-NEXUS group. Our office is at 1 Paya Lebar Link, #04-01 Paya Lebar Quarter, Singapore 408533. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean NexusHire Solutions.
Who this policy covers
It covers candidates, people who contact us or send us an enquiry, and visitors to this website.
Personal data we collect
- Contact details, such as your name, email address, phone number and LinkedIn profile.
- Career information, such as your CV, current and past roles, qualifications, the kind of move you'd consider, and preferred location.
- What you tell us in an enquiry form, an email, a call or a meeting, and any file you attach.
- Information from others, such as referees, background check providers, and public professional sources like LinkedIn. We collect references and background checks only with your consent.
- Website data, such as cookies and basic technical details of your visit. See "Cookies" below.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and keep in touch about it.
- To consider you for roles, and to contact you about opportunities that match your background.
- To present you to a client for a specific role. We do this only after we've discussed that role with you and you've agreed.
- To carry out reference and background checks you've agreed to, including through our group company EXELLAR.
- To meet our legal and licensing obligations as an employment agency in Singapore.
Consent, and withdrawing it
We use your personal data with your consent, or where the PDPA otherwise allows it. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
Who we share it with
- Clients who are hiring for a role you've agreed to be put forward for.
- EXELLAR, our sister company in the EXELLAR-NEXUS group, when a due diligence or background check is part of the work.
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as our website and form provider (Wix), email and IT providers. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
We do not sell personal data.
Transfers outside Singapore
We work with clients across Asia Pacific, and our service providers may store data outside Singapore. When this happens, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. If you're a candidate, we may keep your profile so we can consider you for future roles.
How we protect it
We take reasonable security measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, use or disclosure.
